I have spent time & money on lead gen campaigns already – how is this different?

Partner Elevate is not a marketing agency which means we aren’t coming in to run a time-based marketing campaign for you. Instead, we work with you to implement the tools and processes into your business that will help you get unstuck, take action and secure the longevity of your business.

I have just hired a BDM to focus on this 100% of the time – I’ll wait for them to start.

The longer you wait to start anything, the longer it will take before you start seeing results. While we understand headcount and capacity problems, we know it's better to kick-off lead generation now, so that your new BDM can hit the ground running with the leads you’ve been generating in the interim.

Who in my team needs to own the results of this program?

The program focuses on the marketing, pre-sales and sales functions within the business. We know that leadership roles in many Partner organisations share these core functions, so all we ask is that you decide who should own the results of the program and hold them to it. This ownership requires 2-3 hours per week of focus time to work through the materials and get the best outcome possible. Of course, we encourage multiple team members get involved from the beginning so that everyone is on the same page.

I will be able to focus on this next quarter

We know it’s hard to justify spending time, effort and energy on a new initiative when you feel as though your customers won’t be interested in buying from you at certain times throughout the year.

Depending on the length of your sales cycle there is one thing we know for sure – if you start now, you will be seeing the revenue from new business before next quarter.

We need to focus on closing the deals we have in the funnel rather than generating new ones right now

We understand that there are three core activities that any sales person needs to manage – lead generation, nurture and closing. With only so many hours in the day it can be hard to manage all three. But, the problem with focusing on nurture and close alone, is that when they’re executed, you have nothing waiting in the pipeline to pick up and run with.

We’d suggest encouraging another member of the team (perhaps in a marketing function) to take lead generation into their hands to ensure the pipeline is consistently generating those leads without your sales team having to re-prioritise their time away from selling.
